We are excited to announce that our next forum will be an in-person event. This is the first one since early March 2020, just before the first lockdown.
The Forum will be a suitably-themed talk for December: gift-giving and giving in general in the middle ages. Dr Deirdre O’Sullivan will look at how giving was a social and economic practice relating to charity, patronage and the exchange of goods. It is being hosted at Trinity House by De Montfort University’s Public Engagement team.
Since March 2020, we have had 23 online research forums and have had attendees from around the world. We intend to keep online some of the forums which we feel will appeal to a broader audience, as well as having in-person sessions with more local focus.
You can find out more and register for December’s forum here.
