Resilience and….working with trauma
19th May 2022 @ 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
This workshop is for psychological professionals or those across the caring sector who work with trauma.

Information about this workshop
Working with trauma can present a unique challenge for the helping professional. This
workshop will present the ways in which the helper can be impacted by engaging with
trauma and how they can help themselves so that they can continue to help others. Here
we will look at the motivation to work with clients or patients that have experienced trauma, how
this impacts the practitioner’s wellbeing and resilience and develop ways in which this can
be managed.
This workshop will include input, reflective exercises, and discussion.
Workshop duration and location
The session will last for 2.5 hours and entails a mixture of information sharing and reflective discussion. It will take place at the Leicester Adult Education College, 54 Belvoir Street, Leicester LE1 6QL.
Note: each workshop will require a minimum of 10 people in order to run.
