Resilience and….Burnout
18th May 2022 @ 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
A workshop for those working in the psychological and caring professions

Information about this workshop
Personal and professional resiliency is important to ensure your wellbeing. You may be
experiencing symptoms of burnout and want to address your resiliency/self-care to prevent
impaired wellbeing so it will help you to continue to help others.
This informative and reflective workshop will offer a space for you to think about your own
and your clients’ needs regarding resiliency and how this can impact on burnout. We will
look at resiliency theory and the factors that can contribute to burnout, what the signs of
burnout are and how to develop a resiliency plan. The event will include input, discussion
and self-reflection for your own wellbeing. This may also be useful in working with your
clients to identify the internalised beliefs that can impair resiliency and propel you towards
burnout.
Workshop duration and location
The session will last for 2.5 hours and entails a mixture of information sharing and reflective discussion. It will take place at the Leicester Adult Education College, 54 Belvoir Street, Leicester LE1 6QL.
Note: each workshop will require a minimum of 10 people in order to run.
