Learning to be a Facilitator
A five week course in facilitation skills and concepts
About the course
The ‘Learning to be a Facilitator Course’ is an exploration into how we create learning spaces which encourage participation and contributions from everyone in the room. It will cover essential facilitator skills and theory and will provide opportunities for experiential practice and personal reflection.
The five sessions will explore psychological health and psychological safety in voluntary and paid workplaces as a working theme. Using techniques of peer support and collaborative learning, the sessions will model the very conditions that the course will explore: safety in working and learning together.

This course is part of the Human Factor at Work Project which is outlined in infographic that is part of the information pack. It is delivered by Leicester Vaughan College staff who coordinate the project in addition to some guest facilitators to some of the sessions.
