He was a lecturer for the University of Leicester on their now closed counselling programme\, and has worked for the BACP. SUMMARY:Understanding your relationships and how to manage them
DESCRIPTION:Why do we struggle to understand our relationships with family\, friends or colleagues?  What can we do to manage them better? A workshop suitable for both personal and professional development. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere is a discount of £10 if you would like to attend both morning and afternoon workshops on 14 May. The combined cost of both workshops is £80.  \n\n\n\nAbout this workshop\n\n\n\nIn this three-hour workshop\,  you will gain insight into how you can better understand why you may be struggling in relationships and what you can do to manage them better.  You will do this by exploring the three cornerstone modalities of psychotherapy and counselling: Psychodynamic\, Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. \n\n\n\nThe format will be relaxed and welcoming.  It will consist of structured learning\, reflection activities and practical exercises.  Powerpoint will be kept to a minimum! \n\n\n\nAreas covered include: parent adult child (PAC)\, drama triangle\, object relations\, collectivism vs individualism\, and autonomy. \n\n\n\nDuration and location of workshop\n\n\n\nThis workshop lasts three hours between 1.30 and 4.30 on Saturday 14 May.
